Hilma wool scarf - print

Wash on wool program 30 degrees with similar colors and wool detergent. 

 

After use, the garment is hung up to air and washed only when it is stained or no longer looks "fresh", usually after weeks/months or possibly before you put them away for the season.

 

• Machine wash on wool program 30°C preferably with wool soap (Milo). Remember that the wool program can vary from machine to machine.

• Wash one scarf at a time to avoid the colors spilling over onto each other (recommended for first washing of the scarf).

• Feel free to put the scarf in a laundry bag. 

• Avoid spinning and tumble drying. 

 

This garment was designed in Kirkenær in Norway, a beautiful town near Finnskogen, for all of us who are fascinated by Scandinavian design. All our prints are hand painted or drawn here at Kirkenær before being digitally applied by my producer in India. 

 

The scarf is produced by a family in Bangalore, India. A small family business that has scarves as its livelihood. I had the pleasure of getting to know Father Anind at a textile fair in Vilnus, Lithuania in the fall of 2013. 

 

His company uses a new technology where the print is applied digitally. A technology that is more sustainable than the traditional dyeing. cc7890_cc7890_His new production 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_today meets the highest sustainability standards with zero waste water and a low carbon footprint.

Wool and silk fibers are of high quality and can be advantageously recycled and reused in new garments or materials. Synthetic clothing, on the other hand, contributes to the release of microplastics during washing and use and smells more quickly. They are often produced from plastic that comes from oil. While clothes made from natural fibers such as wool, silk, linen and leather are much better for the environment.

 

When will my order be shipped?

 

​We use standard delivery with Bring from Posten, which takes 2-5 working days. Free shipping and free return or exchange.

 

In the event of an exchange, we cover both return shipping and shipping of new goods. You must place a new order before we process the return.

If you choose to pay by invoice, you will receive an invoice by email when the package is sent from us. The invoice is due within 30 days.
